The Tamiya British Paratroopers Set with Small Motorcycle is a 1:35 scale plastic model kit that includes 2 motorcycle models, 4 figures, photo-etched parts, equipment pieces, and an illustrated instruction manual. The motorcycles, originally developed for the British Special Operations Executive during WWII, were powered by a 1.5 HP engine with a capacity of 98 cc and weighed only 32 kg. With the ability to be folded into a 38-inch cylindrical parachute container, these motorcycles played a significant role in the airborne operations of the 1st and 6th British Airborne Divisions during the Normandy landings in 1944. The kit does not include glue or paints.
