TRF421 Chassis Kit 1:10 Tamiya 42384

The TRF RC designers at Tamiya are constantly striving to offer the most loyal R/C racing fans the latest and greatest innovations for a 1:10 touring car chassis. After two and a half years of intensive development work, Tamiya proudly presents the brand-new TRF421. Tamiya's top-class touring car chassis series has been equipped with a completely new suspension and an entirely new layout!

New Features:

This 4WD carbon fiber double-deck design with 2-belt drive is packed with new features:

  • Updated drivetrain: The front rigid direct drive and the rear oil-filled gear differential ensure more stable driving behavior.
  • New suspension: The front and rear upper A-arms as well as the new shorter dampers increase stability.
  • Flexible chassis: Choice between one and two-piece upper deck layouts for different flex characteristics.

Main Features:

  • Motor position: Shifted 22.7 mm towards the center of the chassis for better handling.
  • Equal-length drive belts: Minimize slant and improve stability.
  • Lower deck design: Smaller than the TRF420X to limit ground clearance.
  • A-shaped suspension arms: 7 mm wider span for more stable rolling.
  • Shorter dampers: 5.5 mm shorter than the TRF420X for a lower center of gravity.
  • New differential pulleys: Improved efficiency and durability.

Additional Features:

  • Damper mounts: Three positions (inner, middle, and outer) for flexible adjustment.
  • Steering system: Combination of two steering arms and an Ackerman bushing with a new steering bridge.
  • Precision stabilizers: Mounted in a lower position than the drive shafts.
  • Sealed ball bearings: Efficient rotation and increased durability.
