The Frog 2WD Buggy 1/10 (2015) Tamiya 58354

First introduced in 1983, the 2WD racing buggy Frog caused a sensation with its striking design and high performance. The Frog is now making a comeback, updated for a new era but with its basic structure largely unchanged. The characteristic frame has been retained, and the oil dampers for the rear suspension have been switched to a diaphragm design. The rear drive shaft features a dog-bone joint for secure power transmission. The sleek polycarbonate body remains unchanged, while the three-part wheels with grooved front tires and spike rear tires ensure excellent off-road performance.

  • The design and basic structure are identical to the original release.
  • Rear-wheel drive allows high cornering speeds with the installed differential.
  • A low center of gravity results in excellent off-road performance.
  • Reinforced drive shaft to handle the power of today's motors and batteries.
  • Horizontally mounted, oil-filled aluminum shock absorbers (TRF design) at the rear.
  • The ball-bearing gearbox allows for maximum drive efficiency through 3-step gear ratio adjustment.
