This reissue of the 1986 classic features a 1:10 scale, independent suspension with double wishbones, 4WD drivetrain, lexan body, oil-filled shocks, steel driveshaft, ball bearings, and a 540 GT-Tuned 25T brushed motor. The kit includes an illustrated instruction manual. Additional required items include a 2-channel transmitter, servo, 7.2V battery pack with charger, electronic speed controller, AA batteries for the transmitter, lexan paint, tire glue, lexan scissors, and various modeling tools. Tamiya recommends specific Tamiya paint colors for finishing. Upgrade and replacement parts are available for the Tamiya Bigwig.
