The Tamiya 58624 M-05 Mazda Roadster MX-5 Remote Control Car Kit is a 1:10 scale model with a length of approximately 378mm, a width of around 169mm, and a height of about 122mm. It features a Lexan body without light buckets, M-05 chassis, 2WD FWD drivetrain, a 540 electric motor, 225mm wheelbase, 138mm track width, 5.8:1 gear ratio, planetary differential, double wishbone independent suspension, friction dampers, adjustable front toe, adjustable ground clearance, and adjustable gear ratio. The kit includes an unassembled model with a 540 brushed motor, unpainted Lexan body, stickers, basic tools, and an illustrated manual. Required equipment not included are a 2-channel RC transmitter with receiver and servo, ESC speed controller, 7.2V battery pack with charger, Lexan paint, and tire glue. Useful tools for assembly are plastic side cutters, long-nose pliers with a cutter, RC tool set, hobby knife, and file or sandpaper. The kit is designed for painting with Tamiya PS-5 Black, PS-15 Metallic Red, PS-31 Smoke, PS-55 Flat Clear, and TS-14 Black paints. Receiver, servo, and battery shown in the images are not included.
