Mercedes-Benz 450SLC Rallye Bandama 1979 - Italeri 3632 - Plastic model kit of a rally car in 1:24 scale

The Mercedes SLC was a luxury coupe produced by Mercedes-Benz between 1971 and the early 1980s. Based on the roadster model, the SLC stood out with its harmonious and elegant lines. The 450 SLC was equipped with a 4.5-liter V8 engine delivering 225 HP. In addition to its impressive performance features, the vehicle offered a refined interior made from high-quality materials, emphasizing the SLC's position in the luxury segment.

Special rally versions were developed based on the successful production model. These variants were equipped with roll bars, reinforced wheels, and a lighter body to optimize power-to-weight ratio and achieve the best results in motorsport. These modifications led to remarkable sporting successes, including a victory at the Mintex Rally in 1978.
