Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3 16v - Italeri 3624 - Plastic Model Kit of a Car in 1:24 Scale

The Mercedes 190, introduced in 1982, marked a turning point for the Stuttgart-based automobile manufacturer. As the entry-level model of the brand, it still brought significant stylistic and technical innovations. The elegant design also influenced later models in the higher segments. Technically, the 190 featured a longitudinally mounted front engine, rear-wheel drive, disc brakes on all wheels, a MacPherson front suspension, and a multi-link rear suspension. Initially, two 1,998 cc gasoline engines were offered, either with a carburetor or fuel injection (190E). Shortly thereafter, the sporty 2.3 16V version followed, which was used in the Nürburgring Champions Race Cup in 1984 with well-known Formula 1 drivers.
