Precise reproduction of the F-35B in vertical landing mode!

The F-35 Lightning II is a versatile fighter aircraft that consolidates the various tactical aircraft of the US Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps into a single type and its variants. The F-35B, as the most ambitious version, replaces the Marine Corps' AV-8B Harrier II. It features a lift fan between the cockpit and engine as well as a rotating nozzle for short takeoff and vertical landing (STOVL). Additionally, it offers supersonic flight capability, stealth, and high situational awareness through sensor fusion.

Many countries that have introduced the F-35B possess ships with flight decks. As of 2023, the United Kingdom with the Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier and Italy with the light aircraft carrier Cavour will deploy the F-35B in their air and naval forces.

  • Realistic depiction of the semi-open internal weapon bay doors and detailed interior with ribs and pipes.
  • The nose and main landing gear can be displayed both extended (for hover mode) and retracted (for landing).
  • The lift fan is integrated into the nose landing gear bay, and the variable blade underneath is detailed.
  • The engine nozzle is shorter than on the F-35A and is represented by a single part.
  • The 3BSM (3 Bearing Swivel Module) is accurately reproduced with special parts for this kit.
  • RAM (Radar Absorbent Material) is molded into the fuselage surfaces.
  • Clear parts depict the canopy and the EOTS housing under the nose.
  • Includes parts for AIM-9X Sidewinder x2 and AIM-120C AMRAAM x2.
  • Y-shaped air intake channel for advanced stealth features.
