1:24 Soarer 2000VR-Turbo Tamiya 24365

The Soarer was introduced in February 1981 as Toyota's first luxury passenger car. Its refined styling with a long front and short rear, the powerful six-cylinder engine, and the luxurious features with state-of-the-art automotive electronics made it very popular and much talked about. In June 1981, the Soarer lineup was expanded with the VR Turbo, which was equipped with a 145-horsepower inline-six turbo engine, a four-speed automatic transmission, and a four-wheel independent suspension to improve driving performance. The car was also comfortable to drive at high speeds, confirming its reputation as one of the most luxurious passenger cars of the 1980s.
