Renault R5 Alpine Rally - Italeri 3652 - Plastic Model Kit of a Car in Scale 1:24

For the 1977 rally season, the French manufacturer Renault developed a racing version of the popular small car, the R5. Although the R5 was originally designed for entirely different purposes, the French engineers managed to extract impressive performance from the engine after appropriate modifications: a proud 150 hp and high torque. Combined with the low weight of only 800 kg, the R5 became an extremely agile and fast vehicle. In 1978, the R5 achieved remarkable placements in the rallies in Sanremo and Monte Carlo, as well as later in the Acropolis Rally and competitions in Africa.
