Land Rover Fire Truck - Italeri 3660 - Plastic model kit of an Off-Road vehicle in 1:24 scale

The Land Rover is undoubtedly one of the most iconic symbols of British automobile manufacturing and a milestone in the history of off-road vehicles. Originating in the immediate post-war period, the first prototypes were built in 1947. It was characterized by four-wheel drive (4x4) and a robust, reliable construction that could handle even the toughest terrains. The aluminum body made it lighter and at the same time more resistant to corrosion, which increased its longevity. By the time the Series III was introduced in 1971, over one million vehicles had already been produced. The Land Rover was available with a standard wheelbase of 88 inches as well as a long wheelbase of 109 inches. Thanks to its versatility, it was used in both military and civilian sectors. Particularly noteworthy were the versions for the fire department, which were specially equipped with firefighting devices.
