1:12 Lancia DELTA HF Integrale Sanremo 1989 - Italeri 4712 - Plastic model kit of a rally car in 1:12 scale

The Lancia Delta HF 4WD, the sportier version of the Delta street model, is a true icon in the rally world. Produced in the second half of the 1980s, it participated in the World Rally Championship from 1987 to 1988, winning two world titles and numerous prestigious races such as the Monte Carlo Rally and the Sanremo Rally.

Its evolution, the Lancia Delta Integrale, continued racing until 1993, securing five more world titles, further establishing Lancia's dominance in off-road motorsport. The Delta HF Integrale received not only numerous aesthetic enhancements, such as widened fenders and new air intakes on the hood, giving it a more powerful look, but also technical upgrades. For instance, the power of the 1995 cc turbo engine was increased to 185 hp.

In 1989, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16v participated in the Sanremo Rally with a striking "Rosso Corsa" livery. The design, conceived by the main sponsor of the racing team and designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, was inspired by Lancia's rally cars of the 1960s and 70s like the Flavia and the Fulvia. Miki Biasion and Tiziano Siviero led the “red” Delta to victory, cementing Lancia's tradition and legendary status in the world of rally sports.
